    Oxfam America began a campaign to promote Fair Trade among campuses and communities in the Northeast in the fall of 2000.

  • CLOUDFOREST INITIATIVES: www.hwpics.com/cloudforest-mexico/ St. Paul-based 100% Fair Trade coffee company, purchases from Mut Vitz. Takes organized tours to visit coffee growing regions, and organizes speaking tours of Mayans to raise awareness in the US. 651-592-4143.

  • HUMAN BEAN COMPANY: www.thehumanbean.com Colorado-based Zapatista solidarity coffee company, purchased Mut Vitz's first container of Fair Trade coffee. Raises awareness and support for the Zapatistas through coffee production and education.   • CAFE CAMPESINO: www.cafecampesino.com Cafe Campesino is a 100% Fair Trade coffee company that bought Mut Vitz's first container of coffee. Cafe Campesino also founded Cooperative Coffees, an importing cooperative for Fair Trade roasters. Based in Americus, Georgia; Bill Harris, 912-924-2468.
